2.2: Apotheosis Beta 1.2.0 & 1.3.0 Changelog

MASSIVE SPOILERS BELOW! This changelog contains lines and comments about late/endgame 2.2 content. Read only if you have beaten the Beta already or do not care about spoilers whatsoever!


The 1.2.0 changelog was not posted as it was an unstable patch, so you're getting a 2-in-1 changelog.


1.2.0 Tweaks and Additions

  • Added post-credits room achievement completion percentage checker

  • Made small improvements to the Resonant Halls

  • Made entrance to the Parenchyma dungeon more obvious

  • Increased Hovadchear and Ultva’s health

  • The Hypogean Labyrinth now checks for completion sooner

  • Updated Primal Pearl texture

  • Lowered prices of the Lo’Dahr and Drehmal maps

  • Removed Christianity from Mossfield

  • Foundry mob glow tweaked, once three mobs remain all mobs will glow for the remainder of the wave, including new mob spawns

  • Gave the executive unit a bossbar

  • Flammer is a wooden pickaxe again

  • Diamond legendaries are no longer upgradable with netherite


1.2.0 Fixes

  • Fixed Post-Tethlaen Tower dialogue sometimes playing multiple times in multiplayer

  • Virtuo’s Devotion system should now have the changes it was supposed to from patch 1.1.0

  • Fixed the Aphelion’s surveillance cameras being overwritten by player made maps

  • Fixed broken Ol’ Reliable trade in Riverstead/New Riverstead

  • Fixed mipmapping not working when the resource pack was enabled

  • Fixed WarpHorse duplication

  • Fixed Tul’Vohaln texture not applying

  • Fixed Zenith room not lighting up upon entering

  • Removed a duplicate book from the Resonant Halls

  • The Aphelion shuttle transit should now play the current version of the song as seen on Chris Nesja’s YouTube channel

  • Fixed projectiles occasionally standing still in midair when chunks unload

  • Fixed Khive tower rings… again

  • Fixed a villager eating bush in Noha’s Corpse

  • Put colder ice in Dusps fountain


1.3.0 Tweaks and Additions

  • Rewrote the first holotext players read in the Stasis Facility

  • Rewrote a holotext in the Av'Sal dome

  • Rewrote the Dive Log 4 holotext in the Resonant Halls

  • Added many new books around the world to further build the “main objective”

  • Added new rooms to the Resonant Halls for some new lore books

  • Added dialogue to the Tethlaen fight

  • Rewrote parts of the Mythoclast’s dialogue

  • The above changes are all part of an effort to further build and explore the consequences of the player’s main objective. We observed that many players didn’t have a reason to enter Mt. Yavhlix and thus made the solution to the Mythbreaker run confusing. Additionally, we aim to provide a strong hook to get players invested immediately and have them asking questions as they explore the world.

  • Retextured End Portal Frames

  • Retextured and recolored the End Portal

  • Retextured the Emissary

  • Renamed Perennium to Effloresce


1.3.0 Fixes

  • Removed some patches of Nether Wastes in Voynahla’s Domain

  • Fixed a ton of typos across lore books and item descriptions

  • Foundry reset button now works as long as the arena isn’t active

  • Trident in the Vehrniis’s model now uses the correct texture

  • Fixed some broken beds in Espelli Vineyard in Akhlo’Rohma

  • Fixed a missing map on the Undead Bridge in Akhlo’Rohma

  • Mystic Vow boots now give armor

  • Removed duplicate Burnt Palace gatekeepers and Tevus

  • The description for the advancement “And In The Light, Bind Them” now says Fervor Stones

  • Removed a stray holotext from the Sal’Mevir dunes

  • Fixed the Divine Schism tablets in Ytaj

  • Fixed decaying leaves at the Temple of Life
